Free Plant Survey

Core-Chem Ltd offer a FREE initial plant survey & basic report on current cleaning process methods for all companies who place an enquiry with us via any of the following methods:-

• Contact us page on the website
• E-mail
• Telephone

The survey will involve a member of our team visiting your site to discuss your current & future cleaning requirements. After a brief discussion, an independent assessment of your cleaning plant will be conducted. Information relating to the plant such as footprint & basket size, cleaning cycle process times and current cleaning product will be required. It is always beneficial to see a selection of components that are commonly processed through the plant especially the most troublesome to clean components.
Back at the office a brief report will be raised and sent to you related to your current cleaning process. The report will outline areas of potential improvement for your process in order to maintain compliancy, minimise waste generation and keep costs to a minimum.
In many instances, a simple change to the process method can help achieve this, but should a change in chemical and or equipment be required (as in the case of many TCE users), as independents, Core-Chem Ltd are confident that we will have an affordable option for all applications.

Operator Training

Core-Chem Ltd offer extensive operator training packages to our customers.
2009 saw the launch of our new and improved ‘solvent user training programme’. The training packages are free for up to 4 operators on any new piece of equipment supplied by Core-Chem Ltd, and are in addition to the training given by the installation engineer related to the everyday control and use of the equipment. (*A fee for training will be charged in all other instances.*)
We have 2 levels of training package available; ‘Basic’ & ‘Advanced’. We also offer a tailor-made training package service where specific requirements may need to be covered. This option is well suited to large organisations where different members of staff using the equipment have varying levels of knowledge and responsibility.
Our training packages generally cover the following:-

• Basic principles of a vapour degreaser
• How a vapour degreaser works
• Background on chemical being used
• Correct basket configuration for minimal solvent consumption
• Safety when using solvents for cleaning and degreasing
• Correct process method for optimum cleaning and minimal solvent consumption
• Environmental awareness
• Health & safety requirements
• Waste management
• Legislative requirements

Operator training is available to all current customers and also new customers. All trainees receive a training certificate to add to their training records.

Solvent Reduction Programme (SRP)

We have a solvent reduction programme available for any solvent user. The programme was initially designed for the solvents users who were just over the compliant levels with regards to SED consumption limits. Increasingly, the interest has spread to compliant solvent users who simply wish to reduce their solvent costs and make the environment a better and safer place to work for its operators. We have helped many companies bring their solvent consumption levels down to a compliant level without the need for investment in new large plant or indeed the ever increasing registration costs. With operator training, advice on correct basket loading procedures, possible adjustment to process times and a joint monitoring system between both customer and Core-Chem Ltd support team, we may be able to guide you through the cheapest route to compliancy.
(N.B. In some instances, dependant on the machine type, it will not be possible to reduce compliant levels using the above programme).

Controlled Waste Management

In order to reduce waste disposal costs for our customers, Core-Chem Ltd have negotiated special discounted rates with one of the largest waste management companies in the UK. We are able to facilitate most types of waste with nationwide controlled collections at very competitive rates.
All waste collections are fully documented and abide by current waste disposal and handling legislations.
