ABOUT CORE-CHEM

Core-Chem Ltd was formed in September 2002 as an alternative to the traditional distributor, agent and/or manufacturer within both the chemical and the equipment industrial sectors.

Core-Chem's founder Bernard Pye had worked within the chemical and equipment industries for over thirty years dealing with a wide range of precision component manufacturers within the aviation, automotive, electronics and medical sectors, together with process related sectors like platers, painters, anodisers, etc and all sectors in between such as the Ministry of Defence, Institutions and so on. This was a hands on experience which often led to project management, new process design and certainly innovative equipment developments in many customers.

The one thing that he found very frustrating was that the product range of the manufacturers was limited and very restricting. In a lot of cases he could be expected to offer a customer something that would do but was not exactly right for the process. His honesty and integrity prevented him from doing this and meant that he gained experience from many manufactures within various sectors over the years.

 Another area he found difficult to understand was that of the distribution or agency type companies. Whilst they may have started with one or two agencies they ended up with several and the sales people were often expected to have a knowledge of over 3000 or more products. They would seldom be given adequate training or support and if they asked for support from the potential supplier they would be directed to just the products that fitted the remit of that particular supplier - not always the best option for the customer.

With his vast knowledge of the actual process and production environments, equipment, environmental and safety requirements and obvious portfolio of suppliers and contacts he felt it would be better to use his talents and experience in the best interests of customers in a slightly more honest way than perhaps some of the industry is use to or has in the past been associated with.

With the values of honesty and integrity high on his ethical and moral priority list, he started to make contact with like minded people who would support him and his potential customers. They understood that when a product they offered was not in thier customer's best interest, he would recommend alternative suggestions. Equally, he would actively promote their correct choices when appropriate.

This has resulted in one point of access for customers, with the back up and resources of technical knowledge, second to none in the market place. This, together with a support and training package directed by Core-Chem Ltd. ensures that the safest, most environmentally friendly and commercially viable compliant production package is available to all.

When a particular chemical or equipment technology is offered it is based on research of the actual market place where these materials are used and where for commercial as well as the obvious safety and environmental reasons, the TOTAL PACKAGE recommended WILL be right for your particular application.

However there is one fundamental dynamic within this strategy that is critical to its success, and that is YOU the customer, because unless you are willing to work with CORE-CHEM LTD from the start and even after the process is tested and in use the maximum benefit cannot be gained for your business without continued and never ending evaluation and improvements of the process as it evolves in your particular environment. That is the one commitment we ask of you because it is essential in keeping the process safe, and commercially viable.
